Yesterday Reddit user puppiesmakemelol posted the above picture with the line:

“The Mormons insisted on speaking to my mom. So here they are helping her garden.”

Other Reddit users commented on the photo and most highlighted how very nice Mormon people are.

I have a really good friend that’s Mormon, he and I get along great. He is glad to talk about his religion but has never once tried to force it on me or treated me any differently as a person for not agreeing with him.

Agree or disagree with their religion. These are good people.

You know, I think this is (or should be) the prevailing Christian attitude as well. If I was at the neighbors chatting and she was gardening I’d jump in and lend a hand too 😉 I’m sure acts of service are one if your goals as ambassadors of your faith and that’s just part of being good people. We need more of that.

Reddit users were in awe by the numerous positive things being said on the forum, saying things like:

This is undoubtedly the kindest thread on mormons I have ever seen on reddit
-Octagon_Time_Machine

Seriously this never happens…is this reddit?

Obviously, since it’s the Internet, not everything that is said is positive. This thread however, is overwhelmingly positive so feel free to check it out!
