Season seven American Idol finalist Brooke White released her seventh album recently, and it’s incomparable to anything she’s ever done before.

“This album is going to be different for several reasons,” White said.

This is not just a new album — this is a charity album.

A portion of proceeds from White’s album have been donated to Operation Underground Railroad (O.U.R.), an organization that gathers extraction experts to form a rescue team. The team then completes a mission to rescue the children being trafficked as sex slaves. Each mission costs $20,000, and White raised enough money to fund two missions.

White’s album, entitled “Never Grow Up,” features lullabies and happy songs and is a collaborative album put together by several well-known LDS artists like White, David Archuleta and Mindy Gledhill.

“We have some great people supporting this project and we’re truly doing everything we can to donate as much of the money we raise as humanly possible,” White said. “We promise to be as crystal clear as possible in regards to the money raised, the money spent, and the money donated throughout the process.”

To continue supporting White in donating to O.U.R., purchase the album from iTunes.
