Latter-day Saint violinist, Lindsey Stirling, will spread some holiday cheer tonight with some of country music’s biggest stars during the annual “CMA Country Christmas” concert.

Stirling, a recent graduate of Brigham Young University and famous violinist, will play an original Christmas medley arrangement that she calls “Celtic Carol.” In a video posted to Facebook, Stirling stated that it is an honor to be apart of the CMA special at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee.

It’s amazing to be here. There are so many legends that have performed on this stage and I feel like I’m stepping into a place of history… This is one of my first big appearances in the country market, and I feel like I’ve been so warmly received. It’s been great.

Other Country Christmas performers include Martina McBride, Jewel, LeAnn Rimes, Darius Rucker, Pentatonix, and Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley.

The show, hosted by Jennifer Nettles, was taped on November 7 and will air tonight on ABC at 8 p.m. MST.
