Lindsey Stirling Showcases ‘Les Miserables’ Medley in New Music Video

1970

Lindsey Stirling, famous violinist and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, released a new music video featuring a medley of songs from the musical “Les Miserables.”

Stirling’s mashup includes the songs “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Master of the House,” “Castle on a Cloud,” “Bring Him Home,” “A Heart Full of Love” and “Do You Hear the People Sing.” This remake is a more dramatic display of music for the hip-hop violinist who typically dances around while playing upbeat and fast-paced songs.

Stirling published the musical medley to her YouTube page on March 6, 2015, and in just three short days it has already garnered more than 615,000 views. Stirling and her backup dancers and musicians are dressed in period clothing throughout the music video to bring to life the popular story told in Les Miserables. The track featured in the video is available for fans to download from the iTunes store.
