Freeman Dyson is a renowned scientist, most recently known for his new book, “Dreams of Earth and Sky.” In a recent interview with the New York Times, Dyson said he finds great value in The Book of Mormon.

In the one-on-one interview, the New York Times asked Dyson a variety of questions relating to physical and mathematical sciences. When the New York Times asked Dyson what book they would be surprised to find on his shelf, he replied:

“‘The Book of Mormon: Another Testament of Jesus Christ.’ I treasure it because some of my best friends are Mormons, and the book tells a dramatic story in a fine biblical style,” Dyson told the New York Times. “The reader has to wait with growing tension almost until the end of the story to reach the final climax, when Jesus arrives in America and founds his second kingdom here.”
