In October 2014, Studio C produced a Hunger Games video parody, receiving more than two million views on YouTube.

Now, one year later, the video is part of a Samsung competition, to find the best fan-made art. Studio C’s “The Hunger Games Musical: Mockingjay Parody – Peeta’s Song,” is competing in the best fan-made music video category.

Currently, Studio C’s video is leading the competition, having received the most votes within the category. The grandprize winner of the contest will receive a trip to Los Angeles to attend the Hunger Games Tribute Global Fan Appreciation Event, taking place at the Samsung Studio.

Deseret News reports that the cast of Studio C was not even aware their video was part of the competition.

“The exposure was a fun surprise to all of us,” Jared Shores, producer of Studio C, told Deseret News. “It was just picked up, which is always cool to see. That means our content is getting out there.”

Voting for the best fan-made music video ends on October 19, 2015.
