Vocal Point Creates Mashup of Justin Bieber Song and One Direction Song

Vocal Point, an A Capella singing group at Brigham Young University, released a music video mashup of two pop icon’s songs.

The BYU students chose to combine Justin Bieber’s “As Long As You Love Me” with One Direction’s “Drag Me Down” for their latest video as they believe both of these songs to have a great message. Cody Phillips, a member of the singing group, said,

It’s unlike anything we’ve put out before. There’s still a great message in the songs, but we’re presenting it with a ‘touch’ more of an edge.

With both of these famous musicians releasing new albums this week, Vocal Point thought it appropriate to pay tribute to both Bieber and One Direction with this mashup, released the same week.
