Brigham Young University’s Vocal Point, recently joined together with the University’s Men’s Chorus to produce an amazing sound. The two groups performed Vocal Point’s number one selling iTunes song, “Nearer, My God, To Thee,” and posted it to YouTube.

The soloist in the video, James Stevens, also arranged this version of the hymn. The video has already gotten some great feedback in the comments with people saying things like, “real powerful and soul catching!” (Zoey Lu) and, “Great song guys! I listen to it and really do feel Nearer To My God” (Matthew Hartmann).

Vocal Point is a 9-man a capella ensemble of BYU students who sing without any musical track or instruments. The group has been around for 20 years and is currently directed by McKay Crockett.
