This weekend, June 7-8, will be a time members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Jamaica will never forget. The Church has attempted to organize a stake in Jamaica for over a decade, but kept experiencing issues preventing them from doing so. However, this weekend, Jamaica will finally get its first ever official stake of Zion.

As of last month, the Church reports that Jamaica has 5,712 members, 19 congregations and 1 mission.

In celebration of this exciting event, the YouTube channel, Caribbean Mormon Channel, released a new video highlighting the work of the Lord in Jamaica thus far. Celebrate with the Saints in Jamaica by watching “Jamaica – Faith of the Pioneers,” above.
