This week, we talk about: The Church of Jesus Christ’s efforts to join in filing an amicus brief to the Supreme Court regarding the 14th Amendment, the Payson Temple open house, and USGA at BYU’s video #INeedHimToo.

0:06 – Amicus Brief Filed Regarding 14th Amendment

On Tuesday The Church of Jesus Christ filed an amicus brief with the United States Supreme Court regarding the fourteenth amendment and state’s rights to redefine marriage. The brief represents over 50 million Americans from various religious organizations across the country. The Supreme Court will rule on the case this summer.

0:23 – Payson Temple Open House

Tickets are now available to attend the Payson, Utah temple open house, which begins next Friday, April 24th. With the high demand for free tickets on the first day, the Church says more will be made available in the coming weeks.

0:25 – USGA “I Need Him Too” Campaign

And students in the group ‘Understand Same Gender Attraction’ at Brigham Young University launched a new campaign this week called “I need him too.” Their video shares how members of the Church with same gender attraction can live the standards of the gospel and need Jesus Christ in their lives just as much as other members.
