Thirteen thousand youth participated in the Payson Temple cultural celebration over the weekend, performing on the field of the Lavell Edwards stadium. The theme was “Fill the World with Love” and President Henry B. Eyring was in attendance.

0:20 – Elder L. Tom Perry’s Funeral Service

Family, friends, and members of the Church gathered to celebrate the life of Elder L. Tom Perry at the tabernacle on temple square. Remarks were made in memory of Perry’s enthusiasm even in the final moments of his life.

I declare to you my brothers and sisters, that there’s no chink in L. Tom Perry’s armor. There was no guile in his soul, there was no flaw in his character. He loved the Lord with all his heart and soul and served him with all his might to the very end of his mortal life.

0:59 -Laura Osnis to Headline Pioneer Day Concert

And Mormon Newsroom announced the guest artist for this year’s Pioneer Day concert. Laura Osnis, a broadway performer and Tony Award winner for her role as Bonnie Parker in Bonnie and Clyde will sing with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir this summer. Tickets are available for the free event.
