Mormon Newsroom recently released an article declaring that the Phoenix Arizona Temple will be open for public tours on Friday, October 10 through Saturday, November 1, 2014. This temple was announced for construction in 2008 and will be dedicated on November 16, 2014.

The ground was broken for this temple by Elder Ronald A. Rasband of the Quorum of the Seventy on June 4, 2011. Similar to the Ogden Temple rededication where over 20,000 youth performed in a Cultural Celebration, the Phoenix Arizona Temple will also be holding a Cultural Celebration. It is estimated that 5,000 youth will participate in the celebration.
