“Meet the Mormons” is set to release worldwide this month after its wildly successful run in the United States.

“The film was initially only going to show in a theater located in Salt Lake City,” Blair Treu, director of the film, reported to Mormon Newsroom. “But it was then decided to launch nationwide. It turned out to be a success, so it was decided to present it in other countries and we are here today. This movie now has positioned itself as one of the top 30 documentary films in the United States. It was a success at the box office. ”

Leaders from various religions appreciated the film, as well.

“It is a movie for the whole family, I can’t wait to watch it again with them,” Akanesi Taufa & Lilika Sailosi from the Prime Minister’s Office of Tonga told Tonga Daily News.

After the screening, His Highness Tui Atua Tupua Tamasese Efi, Samoa Head of State, told Mormon Newsroom:

It is an excellent movie documenting a number of Mormon families and it will be a great opportunity if available for the whole of the people [of Samoa] to see and view it.
