Twelve-year-old Mary Elizabeth Paris sits in her hospital room awaiting a bone marrow transplant as she continues in her fight against leukemia. Paris spends her days in the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta in Georgia watching one of her favorite movies, Napoleon Dynamite.

According to Yahoo! News, Paris had told one of her nurses about the comedy being in her top movies. The nurse then brought the DVD for her the next day to watch in the hospital. When Jon Heder, the actor who played Napoleon Dynamite in the 2004 comedy, heard that Paris is a devoted fan of the movie, he decided to send a personal get-well message from Napoleon Dynamite.

Reviving his role as Napoleon Dynamite, Heder, who is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, delivered his well-wishes to Paris in a one-minute video, posted above. In the video, Heder included catch phrases and his signature butterfly salute.
