Mitt Romney, former Republican presidential candidate and member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, topped the competition of those who filled out an ESPN March Madness bracket.
Bleacher Report writes that after the Final Four games on Saturday, Romney ranked in the 99.98th percentile of other bracket competitors. Romney correctly anticipated six of the eight teams in the Elite Eight, all of the Final Four schools, and expected a Wisconsin-Duke championship matchup, with Duke walking home NCAA champions. Prior to the Championships, Romney came in 25,485th place for accurate brackets.
Three years ago, Romney declined filling out a bracket as he claimed he was “not plugged in well enough this year to do that,” according to the Huffington Post. This year, however, proves different. After a Duke win at the Monday night finals, Romney now ranks 6,326th out of the more than 11.5 million brackets filled out on espn.com.
Following the championship game, Romney tweeted:

Romney may not have been able to dominate President Barack Obama in the 2012 Presidential elections, he certainly dominated the president this time. Coming up on the NCAA championship game, Obama’s bracket sat in the 40th percentile, ranking the president at 6,918,578th place out of 11.5 million.
