Members of a ward’s high council now have access to a new resource that will help them understand how to meet the temporal and spiritual needs of members in the ward.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints launched a new website geared toward helping stake and ward council members help others who are victims of abuse, offenders of abuse, struggling with addiction, families dealing with experiencing same-sex attraction, or are trying to overcome financial struggles or lack of employment.

These resources can be accessed through one’s LDS account at ministering.churchofjesuschrist.org. Resources on this site provide members of the ward council easy access to gospel teachings, counsel from Church leaders and assessment tools.

Under the bishop’s direction, members of the ward council can rely on these new resources as they counsel together and with the Lord to find the best way to benefit the ward members.

It is anticipated that these resources will be translated into the following languages in the upcoming months:

  • Chinese
  • French
  • German
  • Italian
  • Japanese
  • Korean
  • Portuguese
  • Russian
  • Spanish
