Elder Jeffrey R. Holland of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles is releasing a new book through Deseret Book, a collection of stories and advice that he addresses “To My Friends” in the title.
The twenty-one chapters in this book are tailored to people with different spiritual needs including “to my friends who face opposition,” “to my friends who love the Lord,” “to my friends who want to change,” and so forth. Elder Holland opens the collection with a preface that states:
If you need a burden lifted, I want you to imagine I am in a personal, private, closed-door chat with you. I want to help you if I can.
“To My Friends” also features several impressively decorated inspirational quotes from each of the selections.
