LDS Youth released this new video recently, making clear the importance of listening to and acting upon the teachings of prophets, apostles, and Church leaders.
The video features a group of youth who get lost in the mountains, symbolic of one’s journey through life and making the conscious decision to follow teachings of the Prophets and promptings from the Spirit.
“Following the prophet may be unpopular, but following the prophet is always right,” said Carol F. McConkie in the video. “We may choose to ignore or rebel against the words of Christ spoken by his ordained servants, but the Savior taught that those who do so will be cut off from his covenant people.”
