Yesterday The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints released their newest entry in their line-up of Bible videos. This video is titled “Christ Appears on the Road to Emmaus.”
After Jesus Christ’s crucifixion and resurrection, He appeared to two of His disciples on the road. They initially do not recognize Him and begin to recount all of the recent turmoil to Him. He then calls them to repentance saying,
O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken: Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
Even after He preaches to the disciples, it isn’t until He leaves them that they realize who He is. That moment in the video will tug at your heart strings.
