Put Oil in Your Lamp

“I just got back from church. I love going to church. That doesn’t necessarily mean every week I want to. This week I actually didn’t want to go. I love when you go and you get reminders of the Savior and His love. Also… the reminder that sometimes we have to do things we don’t wanna do. As we do, we are blessed and to just feel the Spirit testify and witness. A lady was talking about the lamps. You fill them with oil and they have the wick.

The oil is our testimony, our relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father. We can’t share that, even though I wish I could… that’s why I started this tiktok, right? I wish I could give you my oil, but I can’t. You have to do that for yourself. You have to get your own oil by reading the scriptures, praying, strengthening your own faith.

So you have oil in the lamp and then you light the wick and it has a beautiful light. That is what we get to share. We get to share our light. Put oil in your lamp today. That’s the only way we can survive spiritually. It’s up to us. No one else can do it for us.”
