Eight years ago, Chris Williams’ life was forever altered when he lost his wife and two children in a car accident. The story of Williams forgiving the drunk driver who caused the crash that took the lives of his family members has now been made into a film.

The movie, “Just Let Go,” will hit theaters for just one night on Monday, September 28, 2015. LDS Living reports that Excel Entertainment is working with Nobel Peace Prize winner Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu and other Christian celebrities to present the one-night event they are calling “Night of Forgiveness.”

Henry Ian Cusick, from ABC’s “Lost,” plays the role of Williams in the film. Other actors in the film include, Darin Southam, from “Ephraim’s Rescue,” Adam Berg from BYUtv’s “Studio C,” and singer Lexi Walker.

In 2012, Williams shared his story of forgiveness and relying on Jesus Christ through a Mormon Message video, posted below.
