  1. I am single...and Im in Europe..lol...which makes it rather difficult!!
  2. Thank you for your welcome. To answer the nanny questions, I love Switzerland. It is a beautiful country with a vast culture, and I would encourage anyone to definently visit!! I am looking very forward to getting to know as many people as possible. Thanks for including me in your forum!
  3. This is a bit off the topic, but I was engaged to a New Zealander, and moved to New Zealand for a year. I ended up calling the engagement off, but New Zealand has VERY strict immigration rules, and you really have to prove your relationship, engagement, or marriage. And no, a marriage certificate is not valid enough. So, just some advice, but start saving emails, calling card receipts, letters, etc. Because later on, it will make everything much easier for you!! Good luck!
  4. P.S. Please forgive the typos. It is rather late where I am, and I am afraid my brain is fried! :)
  5. Hello...my friend and I were discussing this, and we thought we would get some guys opinions! Would you seriously date a convert to the LDS? Because, as you all know, once you join the Church, you get a "clean slate", and (for the most part) what you did in your previous life as non-LDS, is forgetten. So, knowing that a woman did not previously following the WoW regarding all of its teachings, would you consider dating or even possibly marrying and be sealed to that person? We are awaiting your responses!
  6. Hello everyone. My name is Amanda, and I am an American living in Switzerland. I am currently working as a nanny. Yes, I know I jumped the gun a bit, but I am not an "actual" member of the Church. Yet. lol. I have just completed my discussions, and will be getting baptized soon. I love the Church, and am so grateful to have found this site! Switzerland is not a very religious country, and very few people attend the mainstream Catholic and Protestant churches, and very few are open to any other churches outside of those. So it will be nice to gain support and fellowship here! I am looking forward to getting to know everyone!
  7. I live in Switzerland (I am American), and except for restaurants, everything is closed. Whomever said it was for tradition and time off was correct. Religion is not popular here, but Swiss people like their time off!! lol. Very few people work on Sundays, but even less go to church!
