Hey, I wasn't sure where to put this thread, I couldn't find a random forum...so I'm giving you "advice" to go and join this game. The website is here Mormon RPG - Mormon MMORPG - Book of Mormon what you do is you get peasants, soldiers etc...and its all related to the Book of Mormon. I highly recommend it, its pretty fun! It does take some getting used to. I just go the hang of it and it took me about a good 15 min to play around with it to figure it out and now I'm rocking :) Anyways join the game! ok...break down of lesson, How the book of mormon was translated, what it represents, and how it was translated. How is the book of mormon composed (small plates etc...)

Today I have my first institute class (I'm at Washington State University, the class is at University of Idaho). Its on the book of mormon, it will be pretty sweet.

I read three awsome chapters on faith... 1. Ether 12; Moroni talks about faith, what it is, what it takes 2. Hebrews 11; goes along with Moroni's talk 3. Alma 24; Anti-Nephi-Lehies are slain by Lamanites because Anti-Nephi-Lehies refused to fight Lamanites because the "refuse to stain their swords with the blood of their brethren"

I came across a few more as I was doing my scripture study, here they are... Doctrines and Covenants Secion 11:7 - Seek not for riches but for wisdom; and, behold, the mysteries of God shall be unfolded unto you, and then shall you be made rich. Behold, he that hath eternal life is rich. and.... St. Matthew 17:20- and Jesus said unto them, because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, if ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. This verse from Mormon (my favorite prophet and person...besides Christ that is) tells me that the real church of Christ has revelation and that people that are against the LDS church do not know the scriptures and/or understand them. Mormon 9:6-8 O then ye unbelieving, turn ye unto the lord; cry mightily unto the father in the name of Jesus, that perhaps ye may be found spotless, pure, fair, and white, having been cleansed by the blood of the lamb at that great and last day. And again I speak unto you who deny the revelations of God, and say that they are done away, that there are no revelations, nor prohpecies, nor gifts, nor healing, nor speaking with tongues, and the interpretation of tongues; Behold I say unto you he that denieth these things knoweth not the gospel of Christ; yea, he has not read the scriptures; if so, he does not understand them.

One of mine is in Doctrines and Covenants... D&C Section 9, versus 8 and 9. Its awsome to me because I'm a convert to the church and thats exactly how I found out the church is true.
