  1. Welcome to the forum. I am not that great at sports, but my kids are.
  2. Welcome. Have a beautiful day.
  3. Welcome to the forum and your investigation. I am new too this forum myself but have found everyone to be very friendly and have a lot of good insight.
  4. Well sunny it is, today was a 105 degrees. Too hot for me, thank goodness for air conditioning. I do not think I will like our power bill for this month.
  5. Welcome to the site. Glad that you joined.
  6. That is a great idea. I used to grocery shop on line. Now that I stay home, I grocery shop at the store, and shopping with 3 kids is not always the most fun thing to do. I will have to try to hook up with someone in the ward.
  7. Welcome back. Ok I am new to this, but the signature thing I can answer. Go to the top of this page where it says User cp, then on the on the left side it says edit signature. You just add what you want.
  8. I am actually from central California. My grandparents worked at the San Diego Temple, so we were sealed in San Diego. At that time, we did not have a temple in our city.
  9. Hello, I just started this forum today. I also have three children and just stopped working. It is different being home, but so far I love it. Have a spectacular day !!
  10. Keep coming back. Your journey has just started.
  11. Congratulations on your up coming baptism. Just relax and enjoy the day.
  12. It appears you have an understanding of the teachings of Jesus Christ, but there is more. Have you read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it with a broken heart? I know that is what everyone says, but it is the only way to know. Have a wonderful day.
  13. Hello from CA. Have a spectacular day.
  14. Hello out there in forum land. This is my first posting and I guess I am suppose to tell you a little about myself. My greatest accomplishment is meeting my husband and being married in the San Diego Temple. This was a wonderful experience for me and one I will never forget. My husband is a convert to the church and I will not say that our 13 years of marriage has been without it's ups and downs. What I can say is that after 13 years with the grace of Jesus Christ we now have a stronger and happier marriage then we ever have. Surprise, surprise when we started to follow the directions of our Father in Heaven more strictly our lives have been blessed. We have three wonderful children (4,6, and 11) that keep me busier then I thought possible. I used to work as a supervisor in claims for an auto insurance company for years. I never thought I would be able to stay home. I am glad to say that just a few months ago I was able to say good bye to my job and be a stay at home Mom. Not that our income has greatly changed, that it allowed me to stay home, but our attitude did on what was important. My husband, children and myself are being blessed and some how the bills are being paid. Tithing is a wonderful thing. What do I do now that I stay home. I have found myself doing more activities with the children, my house is cleaner, started family history, I wait by the door for my husband to come home from work ( he loves this) and I started an online business. I like to shop and had a hard time finding classy sleepwear that I could wear with temple clothing. So I started Classy Dream Wear. Well, school is getting ready to start. I am a little nervous as this is my first year being a stay at home mom. Any advise on how to manage staying in a good spirit when you hear children fighting and no longer interact with adults or get that pat on the back at work for a nice job. I did not mean for this to be so long.
