So. I dont know if this is okay to make a whole new thread announcing this. Or If I should have just left it in my other thread here, I'll leave the mods to decide that. Well, it has been a crazy day. I worked 11-7 so I left for work but decided to check the mailbox and boom! Theres my call! I wanted to open it so bad! But I knew I should wait for when I got off to have my family there. So here I was at work, dying to go home and too distracted to actually work. It was a hard day. But it payed off. I got called to the Tokyo,Japan mission!!!!!!!!!!:D:D I am so excited!!! I cant wait to serve the lord in this wonderful country, its going to be an amazing experience, I just know it. I leave June 17th, so I got a couple of months. Thank you all!!! -Logan (HyperShadow) :)

I would really like to go to Japan. I took 3 years of it during high school (Yes I put that on my papers ) and I think it would be a great experience. As far as going to the temple. I have had the temple prep classes already, now I am going to talk with my bishop and it should be good! Gah I'm so excited and impatient heh heh

Wow, this is such a crazy feeling. Ok, from the beginning! I had my interview with the stake president today, you know the final final one where after he submits my papers! Anyway, that was a great experience and it went really well, the spirit was definitely there as we went through it. I gave the opening prayer and the SP gave the closing and his prayer was so nice it gave me reassurance and the knowledge that what I am doing is the right thing and I am ready to go. So from this point I just wait for my call! Now that I think about it I have a few questions, when do I go to the temple? After I'm set apart as a missionary? I guess I can just go ask my parents, but its good to ask here. Oh yeah, I have to get my wisdom teeth pulled soon, so that will be fun XD The feelings I'm having right now are intense and some I have never felt before. I look forward to serving Heavenly Father and his children. I cant wait, I really cant. SP said they probably wont get to my papers until after conference. Makes sense, but oh man it makes the wait so longer. I really appreciate the forums here, they have helped me a lot. Especially the members, thank you all for all your great answers, stories and testimonies. I'll let you all know my call when it gets here! -HyperShadow

Yeah, I graduated earlier this year, and basically all I do with the gospel was church and seminary. I didnt think too much of my mission, just that it will be happening soon. Then my friend left on his and I knew I had to be prepared. I guess, dont force him, people hate being forced doing things. I bet that he will soon realize what he needs to do. I've played CS, and I still play video games on a daily basis, thats going to be hard to not have then for 2 years XD haha. Good luck with your son and thank you!
