I found the other thread and I am familiar with the prophesy recorded in Wilford Woodruff's journal without attribution. I see that one as moot since it says in it that the person receiving it will live through it and it was recorded in 1877. It has happened or not, but the time is past. The one I am looking for is often included with that other one but seems to be a separate prophesy. It is the one with the "greek descent" in it, I remembered that when I saw it in the other thread. Does anyone have more of the exact wording so I can look it up or the actual reference? Thanks.

As I understand it, Wingnut is right. The prophesy has something to do with the first nonwhite president. I agree with HiJolly. I'm pretty sure it is not a reliable prophesy. I am trying to find the original source so I can authenticate it one way or the other, either I'm right and it is not a reliable prophesy, or my friend is right and it is. Any suggestions of how I might find the reference? I have access to gospelink, but I don't know enough of the exact wording to search for it. I have reason to believe the copy my friend has is corrupted. I'm also not all that excited about asking her to see it again anyway because she keeps trying to convince me that I need to get some comping gear together so I can go in the "first call" to the "place of refuge" in the mountains where we will camp for a year before the 10 tribe aliens with their ray guns escort us to Zion where all our wishes will be fulfilled. I think she is a bit off the deep end. I wanted to know more about this prophesy she has based the timing on for my own piece of mind. Anybody able to help?

I am hoping someone on here can help me locate a quote. A friend of mine a while back showed me a quote that I am now having difficulty finding. It was part of a supposed prophesy and had something to do with destruction occuring after a noneuopean president was elected and before his inauguration. Anyone heard of this? I'm not really looking to discuss the quote, just find it. Thanks.
