Perhaps sparingly refers to portion size as well as frequency? The serving size for a portion of meat is 3 oz. I know most people eat WAY more than that in a single meal. So if you eat 3 oz of meat, 2-3 times per week, I would say that is sparingly and appropriate for today's society as well.

Can someone explain to me this verse? Are they calling Jesus, "The Everlasting Father?" If so, why?

I guess the bigger issue is that he doesn't trust that I have been honest with him. Looks like we have a lot of discussing to do.

Exactly. But he thinks that is me not being able to control my temper. So frustrating.

My fiance and I are in a disagreement. I think if one of us is angry, we should take time to cool down before resuming our discussion. He thinks we should immediately work through it. Ive found support my point of view on the provident living website be he says he is taking his advice from talks from the apostles. Does anyone know of any talks supporting either point of view?
