Also inaccurate for me as well. I voted by my own free will and choice, just like everybody else did. I voted based on my unique ideas, feelings, and what I thought was important, just like everybody else did. I was not coerced, forced, or unduly pressured by some nebulous "they" conspiracy.
Even Ezra Taft Benson knew, why don't you. You call it a conspiracy like it is a weirdo thing. But it is a reality, what do you think the gadianton robbers were, a conspiracy maybe? And if it was a conspiracy how would you know you were being coerced?

I have no doubt no one made your choices for you and that you alone decided who to cast your vote for. Had Mitt Romney been a candidate your choice wouldn't have been Barak MAYBE!
It was your choice and I am not disputing that. But hey who in America would vote a 72 year old man with the possible reality he could not live out his term and the country would be run by a dim-wit cheerleader. Man it was an obvious choice to me. Cmon you and me didn't have a choice.

You know it's sad that as a people we are so divided over a person's election. How can you say it was 'forced'?
I am not even sure what you mean by the word 'forced.' If you mean you think people voted wrongly than that's your opinion.
But we had an election, people voted and they chose Obama. That is what an election is. No one 'forced' me to choose who I wanted to vote for and no one 'forced' you to choose who you wanted to vote for either. In the end you went into the voting booth and voted for who you voted for.
You sound bitter. It's time to get over such feelings of animosity and accept that he's the President by the will of the People.
I know this isn't easy to accept but that is so.

Why didn't you vote for McCain/Palin? Answer is easy right, the same as everyone elses reason. It was not forced directly, but by those who gave us no choice!

I don't feel that way at all. I'm really happy with the results of the election. I think we picked the right man. I was a grassroots worker for President Obama, in my own way. I have hope he will be able to break a few barriers that need to be broken in this nation, so we can really become the United States. For too long there have been divisions because of race and religion. Maybe some of that will be healed now.
The result of the election? Huh? It was a forced election, the game was called voting, to give you an illusion you did it!

Well at some stage soon I would assume all the lands will return back to the North as one land. So maybe the Lord is at work and it is just a progression that needs to happen, that the ice breaking away is making room????!!!!. Don't quote me!

The lie behind what is given is not reveal to the general masses at this point. It is not 800 bilion but more like 3-trillion over four years. 34-major banks had failed so far and the top two are on the brink also.
The thing is here is that they are giving this bail out $$$$ to the very people who are ORCHESTRATING this collapse. Man what can we do!!!!!!!!

You can also look at the (nominal) $800 BILLION plus "stimulus" package. If the population of the US had to pay the $2666--for every man, woman, and child--to fund this bailout, we'd maybe have a revolution. This is why I am "shouting."
Yes...like I said in another thread, I predict the collapse of the US dollar within 18 months.

Angela, I have to say that is exactly the right thing to do. Only Heavenly Father can change the way we feel about something ... it's nearly impossible to do this without him. You need to pray about this as much and as often as possible. And you need to trust Him. He can help you get through this, you know as well as I do that he CAN and WILL soften your heart if you earnestly ask him.
I hope that through your sincere prayers, you overcome this and can become a help meet for your husband. I know you can do this... there will be great blessings for you in doing so :)

It is not like he has been portrayed by his followers as The Messiah or anything...
I do not care so much about the hope and faith of someone who steals my and my childrens' money to bail out his pals and to fund his desires and whims. The more he expresses his faith, regardless of context, and the more I see his actions, the more disgusting--and unbelievable--it all becomes. But, I am a bit peculiar about the whole liberty thing.

I myself have mixed feelings about our new President... but know I also believe Father in Heavem has a hand in all the presidents we have had, whether they have made wrong choices or not.

I believe Heavenly Father used to have a hand in who was to be President. But I believe it is the CFR, or Trilateral commission that has a hand now (since 1976). You'll see!

This is all correct in my eyes and by reading this you will see there is an infiltration into many sectors that have been the result of this organization. Yes it has been around for a very long time.
I can't begin to start on this subject cos I have knowledge on this that would scare the pants off you. All I will say is that there is an organization set up of God and one set up of the devil, and we are to know that Christ will let this organization fall, and great will be the fall of it. They are the ones orchestrating the great world financial collapse and it's gotta get worse before they will be exposed, as the Lord promised. The Catholic church and all sectarian churches are only the result of this G & AB church, but not directly involved.
If you want a starting point, google morning star occult. But remember that is just the start. I wish to not delve into it too much anymore, but only for awareness, but focus on the true religion of our God.

'Morning Star' is also the title of which I believe to be the great and abominable church of the devil, set up here on the Earth (The Morning Star Religion). It's members are high ranking officials of Governments, Universities, and even the members of the Bilderberger corp, among many others.

I think if you marry someone who is living the gospel and is faithful then there is no difference. It is part of accepting the Atonement. As members we will be judged too and believe me we as members are sinning everyday. So a converts past life is covered in that Atonement especially if faithful to the end.
I married my Wife and she wasn't a member (I know, I know it is dangerous), but I knew full well she was going to be and the rest is a long story. She was getting the missionary discussions while I was at work and I had no idea, all from coming across the BOM that I (ahem) accidentally left on the sofa one day. Then lo and behold I walk in one day to sister missionaries visiting her and announcing her Baptism. So, the Lord loves all his children and has a plan for each of them he knows are the elect.
PS I knew as soon as I met her that she was the one the Lord had in store for me, so it wasn't exactly true I knew she would be a member, but on that enlightenment I trusted the Lord would bring that to pass.

The Mormon Doctrine hasn't been approved by the First Presidency and Bruce R McConkie stated also that a lot of it is his own interpretation.
Moses 3:
21 "And I, the Lord God, caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam; and he slept, and I took one of his ribs and closed up the flesh in the stead thereof;"
22 "And the rib which I, the Lord God, had taken from man, made I a woman, and brought her unto the man."
23 "And Adam said: This I know now is bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man."

To reinforce the imagery of that unity, the scriptures indicate that God had figuratively taken a rib from Adam's side to make Eve, not from his front that she should lead him and not from his back that she should despise him, but from his side, under his arm, close to his heart. They were to give themselves totally to each other, and to "cleave unto [each other] and none else." (D&C 42:22.)

As I said -- you can believe as you wish. But I would appreciate you not calling me a heretic. I am only expressing opinion, here. I am not suggesting this is doctrine. Nor would I get up in church and teach it from the pulpit. I just think it is interesting to think about -- and I think the Creation account does in fact leave it open for speculation. Why is Eve being created from Adam's rib symbolic, but not Adam being created from dust?
Woah....... my friend, hold up I am not calling you a heretic. And Eve created from Adams rib is not symbolic, it is literal. Only Adam symbolized what he called her, wo-man symbolizes from man, but it is literal that her creation was from his rib.
