My problem is that I know the right decision. I see it a mile away. I want to do the right thing. I even enjoy doing the right thing. And then, natrually, I do the wrong thing. Im the worst kind of sinner. I knowingly rebel. I am a true enemy of God. But if you were to ask me how much I love him...I'd have to answer that I loved him very much. I am a pathetic child of my creator. Im brilliant, I know the gospel, I know the plan. I love the plan. And daily I forsake it and step into the darkness. Why? I dont have a simple answer for that. I guess Im just the prodigal son still away from home. *sigh*

I think you need to take your own advice on this one... "dont assume more information than is there". Who said anything about how long the guards had been posted? What does that matter? I beg to differ with you friend. I am an ammature bodybuilder and am not a user. I have friends who I work out with who are around 300lbs and arox 9 to 12% bfc who do not use roids. A lot of people are using supplements though, like whey protien and creatine which are NOT roids. Its all about eating clean and understanding how the body works and how to work it. You really shouldnt make assumptions on all body builders friend.

I would ask you to answer these questions to yourself honestly... Have you saught a testimoney all these 20 years, or just assumed you had one? Is this the first time your testimony has been so completley challenged? What do you consider "an answer" to your prayer regarding conformation? I have never offered or even wanted to do this before for someone, but for you I will make an exception. This Sunday, tomorrow well, actually today I will fast for you to recieve an answer weather or not the Church is true. I will fast and pray that you find the peace you are searching for...and that is searching for you too. I will admonish you to not give up. Chris, I've been in a situation simular to yours. The hard part for you will be to be able to see her through her mistakes and poor use of agency. You will have to pray and fast to have your heart softened to see her as she is *after she repents* Because she will, if sincerely repented, be a new and clean woman. The words of a Rob Thomas song come to mind; "If I fall along the way, pick me up and dust me off. And if I get too tired to make it, be my breath so I can walk. If I need some other love then give me more than I can stand. And when my smile gets old and faded, wait around I'll smile again....and could you sympathize with my needs? I know it seems I need a lot. I started out clean but Im jaded...Please help me Im bent. Im so scared that I'll never get put back together... Be firm with her. Let her know she must repent for her sake and the Lord's sake...but that you are willing to continue to love her and be with her *if thats what u want.* But this will only be possible if you can see her as a new person once she's repented. If you can not then it will be a very bumpy road. May the saddest day of your future be no worse than the best day of your past.

I like how you think, but no. Because the liar will say yes if he has heaven and no if he has hell...however you dont know what door he has... The truth teller will say yes if he has heaven, and no if he has hell...but you dont know what door he has. :) And remember they cant open the door to show you.

That is a great question!!! However to my own discredit I failed to mention that once a door is open, you are commited...so no, you cant ask that. BUT FANTASTIC IDEA!

This is not the correct answer. The problem with your theory is that you do not know which guard tells the truth. Nor do you know who the liar is. And either could be guarding either door. AND you ONLY get ONE question which must be asked to BOTH guards at once. No asking one then asking the other. But you're very very close. Nice try though :)

If you found yourself standing before two guards, who each guard a door, *two doors total* and one door led to heaven...one to hell. One guard always and only lies, the other only gives pure truth... you do not know who is who for they are identical in every way ... how would you determon which door led to heaven by asking only ONE question, which must be addressed to both guards at the same time? I'll say that the liar could be guarding heaven....or he could be guarding hell...and vice versa. Again you only get one question that must be presented to both guards. How do you discern which door leads to Heaven? There is only one right answer to this. :)
