  1. I know for a fact that is not true because mental illness is something that is in my family. A person choices are the defining factor in their worthiness to attend the temple. If a person is mentally ill say bi-polar but they are faithful to the gospel and its standards then there is no reason why they should be denied the priviledge to go vise versa if a person is mentally ill and makes choices that cause them to be unworthy to go then they have to be accountable. Choice is the key thing here. Heavenly father doesn't punish us for our afflictions he reprimands us for our sins...being mentally ill is not a sin.

  3. I'm so happy your a new convert!!! My family are converts. My parents joined when I was 2 and my life has forever been altered for the better because of those two young men who knocked on our door. Welcome...I envy your new convert spirit its so nice to see awesome enthusiasm from new members

  5. I wont get scared...I'm so into going to haunted houses and stuff like that. paranormal stuff fascinates me! I've watched so many ghost hunter shows its embarissing!
  6. Hi John! England wow! I would love to go there someday and Ireland too that would be a complete dream come true. We had a guy in my ward serve his mission in England and he loved it!

I'm olny 19 on my way to being 20 and any place else no one would expect me to be married but in the church ALL my friends are getting married and it definately puts pressure on my shoulders. the church doesnt pressure me but being immersed in our lds culture so to say does make me feel pressure to marry.
  8. there not many single in my stake let alone my ward so I know that feeling. Sometimes its a bummer cause it'd be so nice to get to actually get to really socialize and date fellow members but I refuse to let that hold me back especially after what president monson said at general conference about how the statistics for singles who go in-active. I will not be apart of that statistic!!!
  9. I should have joined this forum a long time ago! I'm on another forum and I am the olny LDS person on there completely and its getting really annoying having everything I say discounted simply because I'm lds...so its nice to be somewhere that I belong I live about 30 minutes from Nauvoo,My family is big (not that, that is uncommon in this setting haha) and I LOVE LOVE LOVE being lds more then anything! Oh yes and I'm preparing to serve a mission when I turn 21 and I'm real excited about that
