The Manti temple is gorgeous! Probably one of my top 3 favorite temples. I hear the Logan temple's interior was very similar before being remodelled. I hope to take a trip to Southern Utah soon so my wife can experience the wonders of the Manti temple :)

I'm happily married, just passed the 18 months mark. My wife and I have discussed what would happen if God allowed polygamy again. We both expressed negative feelings towards the idea. You are ignoring the solution. Just go to the Bishop and say, "hey, I've been looking at porn and spanking it....do I need to tell you about it or not?" Problem solved.

Are you embarrassed to talk to the Bishop about this? Why not set an appointment to speak with him, update him on how your life has been and mention the pornography. I'm assuming there was masturbation involved as well.

No, I was never "banished" to the desert My trainer was, haha. He took pictures of the "God is Love" moutain or whatever it is called. Some dude covered it with scriptures,etc. You probably know what I am talking about. On another note, my mother serves in the temple. I called her up and asked her about the "over/under" issue. She said a member of the temple presidency just recently told them that it doesn't matter which way a sister wears it. Something about there not being any scripture detailing how it should be worn. So....there you go.

Heh. I served in San Diego. On bike. 90+ degrees. In an insanely hilly area. I thought I was going to die. This was my first summer with "an extra layer". I had the corbin fabric garment. It does not absorb the sweat. I quickly wrote home begging for cotton/poly. You get used to it :)

Funny story- My wife put her garment on backwards and didn't realize this until the end of the endowment. I guess she didn't know there were markings I like to tease her about it. For me wearing the garment was no problem at all. In fact, I wore the garment top by accident before being receiving the endowment. I used to wear white undershirts. Everyone else in the family was endowed so once in a while the laundry would get a little mixed up. I felt so bad. "Dear Heavenly Father.....SORRY!"

I forsee a lot of upset mothers over this :) Nothing beats watching Called to Serve, singing and then the long tearful good-bye...

Nobody can tell you what you should do. My wife has often told me when she prayed about going on a mission the answer she received was: "If you want to". Meaning either way was acceptable. I'm glad she did, otherwise we might have never met :) The thing about your horse and other little things...God will find a way to take care of those if you are planning on serving. Your health problems...I don't know what to tell you. You aren't a bad person if you choose not to serve a mission.

Why were you at his family's on Mother's Day? You shouldn't have been there. Moving on is just that...MOVING on.

Wow, what an amazing thing. 20 years....congratulations! I'm at 17 months and looking back, I can see how much we have changed together. I can only imagine how that will increase over the years. Here's to 20 more for you!
