You sure skirted around the question of whether it would be immoral didn't you? B) Yeah you say that most men would be furious but women are to take it lying down? What is good for the goose is not good for the gander and such? This has not yet been command of us in our time, yet you and Ray seem to be chomping at the bit for it to happen. Let me make myself clear one more time. IF polygamy becomes our way of life in the afterlife I will take it like any other wonderful woman will... after all I am the first.

It's funny how you can remember the time Taoist, you must have been an avid fan. I'm the same with Starsky and Hutch. I was a teenager at the time it aired on TV and of course watched because of the cute lead actors (at that time of course). Starsky and Hutch aired on Tuesday's at 9:30pm. M. ← I remember watching The Love Boat on Saturday nights with my in-laws. At the time my husband to be was serving a mission. :) ← That's one of my most vivid TV memories, for some reason. It's not like it was my favorite show, but I did like it. And right after that, it was Fantasy Island. I would lay under the coffee table in my WonderWoman sleeping bag watching those shows! ← "Da Plane! Da Plane!" I loved that one too. :) The sleeping bag though..,.you are a bit younger than I am.

So really at that time, they were your in-laws to be. :) M. ← Yes they were. One of the first things they said to their son when he came home was "Where you going to go if you don't marry Strawberry Patch (I earned the name of Fields after I married LOL) were used to not having you around but we could never give her up." Yep those nights of The Love Boat had forever bonded us together.

The other day while I was at a Senior Clinic they were giving flu shots. They were free if you were old enough... and about 30.00 if you were not.

It's almost as though I can hear Ray and Flannan "licking their lips" as they consider having more then one wife. Would it be immoral if I were to do the same at the thought of having more then one husband?

Some very good words thanks. :) I have three children and I have never felt pressured from anyone in the church to have more. My son and his wife a waiting to have children for a year or two which would make her 22 the same age I started having children. I see no problem in waiting to have children for a few years. I believe that we have the ability to choose these things for ourselves.

Heh, there's a lot more to it than that.To me, a wonderful woman is more than a robot, which is all it would take to be obedient. ← I am not saying that WONDERFUL = OBEDIENT.I am saying that it might be a good idea to STOP saying that a WONDERFUL woman would approve of polygamy...and START saying that an OBEDIENT woman would approve of polygamy. That way, the women here that disagree with polygamy can still be considered wonderful people, while being disobedient to God. And I think you know that being obedient does not mean a person is a "robot". You spend most of your time here demonstrating your obedience to your god, do you not? So why not change our terminology a bit, and put the conflict behind us? ← VERY GOOD POST TS!!! btw, it's so good to see you again.

Although I don't know you other than on this board, SF, I think I can say that at least in my eyes, from what I know of you, you are a wonderful wife, mother, and woman. If others can't see that, that is their problem. ← Oh John Doe, Thank you so much.
