  1. I have Quicktime but my comp still froze when trying to play it.
  2. Yep I heard she couldn't even put the book down long enough to sit and enjoy lunch with grandparents today.
  3. JD my dear. Your control...er...almost control is amazing.
  4. Same here pushka. I tried it and it completely froze my computer. I had to reboot my entire system.
  5. I'll stick with these forums. Thanks anyway.
  6. This day and age Heather you just never know. Always have been Pale and always will be. Don't you forget it.
  7. I personally never took it to mean you were a racist. I didn't see that at all. Though I am curious as to how you think this would be "messing with God's plan." Just wanting to understand.
  8. Hispanic and White are not necessarily interracial. There are only three races. Hispanic falls into the Caucasian race, unless mixed. That's why you often see "Hispanic (non-white) on the census. Inter-ethnic might be a better label for that Tux. Good point. Very true.
  9. Then instead of working for Boeing you can get a job at Simplot making french fries. And I LOVE their french fries.
  10. I think that he told me that he was going to. I know that he told my sister that he was going to serve a mission on another site. I knew he was. It's an inside joke the two of us have had. Though trying to pass all those psychological tests has not been easy for him.
  11. I totally agree with all that is said. The color of the skin doesn't matter. It would not bother me at all. As long as the man is a good man, displays respect, what does the color of the skin matter? I think sometimes the problem is the social aspect that is placed on interracial relationships. I also agree with CK. Sometimes it's not the color of the skin that causes problems it's the cultural background.
  12. No you did just fine Newbert. It's hard sometimes to put in writing something so that people understand exactly what you are asking.
  13. I don't see that at all. I'm around teenagers and younger kids all the time. I notice that the younger ones look up to the teenagers and there is a bit of idolization. My opinion is IF they are being taught that, it is a very stereotypical image of teenagers. Probably based on a very small group that made some wrong choices.
  14. Actually I think alot of us answered the questions but in different ways. Though perhaps the misconception that Satan didn't want us to suffer pain, temptations etc was what threw off being able to see it. But good questions Newbert.
  15. There is an interesting article concerning this subject at lds.org. The title of the article is: "People on Other Worlds" by Kent Nielsen
  16. Isn't the story of Artaban just a story written by Henry Van Dyke?
  17. I did read your post. The only way I have of answering it is pretty much what I have already said. Heavenly Father allowed Satan to provide opposition. Whether we choose to allow the opposition to get the best of us or rise above it and become stronger are the choices we are allowed to make. I don't think Satan is thinking he is helping Heavenly Father's plan at all. His job is to try and keep us from reaching our full potential and returning to live with our Heavenly Father. Satan works harder on those who are keeping the commandments, attending church, paying tithing etc. JMHO of course.
  18. Ahhh that makes more sense to me now. I really had been thinking it meant the high elevation of the Andes mountains as the man named Horse that has no Name searched for the ever elusive stones.
  19. Okay but one part I'm confused on. Where do the dromedaries come in? Was it monkeys or camels?
  20. It is necessary that Satan be allowed to tempt man or to provide the necessary opposition to God so that choice would be possible. Which was Christ's plan. Agency.
