Nice to know I'm not the only one who needs larger type (I recently had to buy the large-size Scriptures. Regular-size print was getting uncomfortable). Glad to be here, hope I'll be able to make a useful contribution once I get oriented.

Didn't realize it was going to post THAT big. I'll drop it down a little. I'm reaching the age where my eyes don't like small print, but you're right, that is a little ridiculous. :)

I'm the dazed-looking middle-aged shortish woman with thick glasses. Please forgive any formatting errors, I'm still learning how to work this board's posting software. Ah, that's better (figured out "Switch Editor Mode" and got something easier to handle). Basic bio: 39 (until August), married, no children except for the cat and the bird (unless I can count my husband ). Grew up non-religious, developed an interest in the spiritual at 23, surfed through various denominations, wound up joining the Church in 1994 at age 24. Married in the Los Angeles Temple one year and ten days later. Hobbies: reading, sudoku, needlework/crafts. Looking forward to making new friends and having interesting conversations.
