  1. When I was Historical Clerk in our ward, the machine seemed to work good. That was quite a few years back.
  2. Is anyone familiar with the Grainmaker mill, the one made in Montana. It sounds like a real good mill, but is a bit expensive. Just wondering if it's as good as it looks and sounds.
  3. Welcome! Where ya'll live? I'm west of Ft. Worth.
  4. Guess I'm old fashioned, but that's just not right!
  5. Very true, many modern Mennonites dress in regular, modern style clothing. I suppose I should have said those of the conservative churches and old order. I was refering to the section on modesty in the book. Perhaps it does not condemn the practice, but it sounds like it is to be discouraged. I understand the reasoning. I suppose I should say that since I come from that kind of background, that is why I lean to the very conservative type of clothing.
  6. In the book Mormon Doctrine, I read something of a condemnation of the wearing of utr-conservative clothing, say like the Amish or some Mennonites wear. I personally prefer a conservative style of clothing. Anyone else have any opinions on this matter?
  7. I just found this forum today. I'm sure glad, too. I am a former member of the Church. I left because of family pressure. Not a real good excuse I know. My family is very important to me. Yet, I feel the Lord is calling me back to the Church. It's been several years since I was a member, but for the most part I have kept the doctrines of the Lord. I plam on getting in touch with my local ward soon to see about joining the Church, again. Pray for me, please, that I may have the courage to move forward, inspite of what family may think or say.
