Although we are not pre-destined to marry a certain person, God will bring the right people into our paths at the right time. While one is on their mission is not the right time for love. God would not distract someone with those concerns.

Oy vey, I pity the people who get taken in by the love lightning-bolt lie. Come on, snap out of it! I am leery of anyone who thinks that they can know love at the first glance, first anything. No way.

These verses are not an indication of God changing his mind. But I can see why you might think that. The first and second verses are just reiterating and illuminating what God had already said. Matthew and Mark are just talking about a person needing to prove their faith before being blessed.

When I was very young, a toddler, I dreamed of God, even before anyone told me who God was. Now, I feel God answers my prayers. Plus, I believe the scriptures, the words of the prophets. I feel the voice and warmth of God.

I believe that the Book of Mormon, D&C, and Pearl of Great Price reveal the word of God. If I say God said something that he really did'nt say, then I would be commiting a sin, and would cause others to sin. That would make me a liar. And God continues to reveal his word to those who will hear and believe. But he does'nt change his mind. That would make him a liar.

I wonder if Elder Hair and Elder Tidwell are still out there. I was baptized in the 70s in Texas. I still remember how my family was introduced to the church by them.

I missed Fringe last night because I had a meeting. But I watch the show when I can. It's great!

Sometimes I question my sanity. LOL!
