A point of arigance. If the LDS chuch is the only true and liveing church upon the face of the whole earth with wich the Lord is well pleased. And if you define a "Christian as some one that has the fullness of the gosple as it has been restored in our day. Then it seems to me that only mormans can be christians... Every one else that claims to be christian is just trying to be. ... Looking at it from a Mormon perspective .. if Christ were to appear to day and take a good look at "Mainstream christanity " .. would he consider himself Christian?

Its a doctrinal isssue boys and girls. and there is just no argueing it. every prophet from Adam to Monson has declaired homosexuality to be immoral and against the natrual order that the lord has established.. you dont have to like it .. you dont have to live it... you can try and rationalize your way out of it all you want ..but the the "fact" will still remain that a homosexual relationship is contrary to the laws of God .. always has been ..always will be. And let me be clear hear its the "Sex" thats the issue. because no one has ever had a problem with two men or two weman liveing together publicly saying they love each other. or even saying that their in commited relationship. Its when they try to change the moral compass of the society by saying that haveing a sexual relationship with someone of your own Gender should be a accepted norm in the socetiy that the problem arises. And to make the argument the gay marriage is a civil issue and not a moral one is a half lie. because every civilized society sints the beging of civilized society had based its civil laws on its moral code. and like it or not the moral code of the U.S. has always been based on judao Christion beliefs.

no no no you guys have it all wrong .. mormonism is'nt a cult ... its a "Mad Cult".. ie insain.militant, deluted ect ect ...and ever other anichristian thing you can think of ........ im gonna go drink some brigham tea so i dont become unindoctrinated ..

just my two cents ...i find that went I seek the spirit and cant find it .. its usualy because I know what I need to do ..should do ... I just dont want to do it ...

if you can find something quantateivly better than the truth .... i would love to know what it is . knowledge begats faith. faith brings more knowledge.... the trick is being able to subject your own best understanding to that knowledge that comes from the spirit of god. And at the risk of sounding conseated . I belieave that is the biggest hang up of every other Religion.

Moses chpt 1:39 "Behold this is my work and my glory to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man." In those few words the father puts forth his reason for the creation of this earth and indeed all things. It is the reason behind the atonement and the purpose of this mortal life, It is infact the answer to life the univers and every thing. Christ and him crusified to answer the demands of justice for all man kind and for the justificaton of all of the Fathers creations

As I understand it. In a search for the truth man kind has two tools . intelect and insperation i.e Revalation. It has been my experiance that the former usualy amount to not much more than an educated guess. while the latter brings assurance and only a slitely clearer picture of the unkownen. I find that "Truth" which i define as the reality of things as they are. is seldom if ever complety as we preceive or understand it to be. At least as far as God and faith and Science is concerned.

if you recall the conversation between God and Abraham in Genesis. .How many rightious people do think are left in Salt lake City ... California ,, new york?

So if Christ is a co-equal member of the Godhead .. if the Father, Christ and the Holy Ghost held a Conferance ...who would be the presideing authority?
