  1. Every morning I get a reminder of the idiocy that is The Legion of Do-- erm, I mean PETA, as my school under the shadow of their headquarters here Norfolk. As I never have anything nice to say about them, I'll stop here and not say anything
  2. 7 Up Pop Tarts or Toaster Struedles?
  3. Cell phones in general, I have come to hate them. Just another excuse for people to be even more rude than they already were. Working in customer service, and the person in line is on a celly, and having them seem like I'm the rude one when I ask them how I can be of service, when they're the one's coming to me.
  4. I'm about to pay off my credit cards for good, and rip them up forever.
  5. Friday! Being buried or burnt alive?
  6. Yeah, it pretty much is, Ferny Gully in space! But that's okay, I like Fern Gully ^^;
  7. Minus the part where Avatar doesn't suck, no pun intended. *Dodges rabid fangirls*
  8. I was serious, I don't see why I else I would ask if I wasn't. Look, I don't know the scriptures that well and I did look through the chapter. But since the whole chapter continues for more than just his birth, as I already stated, I wondered if I read it to someone, precisely which verses I would read. Thanks to those who answered.
  9. I know when reading the story of Jesus' birth, people read from Luke 2, but from what versus exactly? Cause the chapter extends to more than just his birth, so I forget just where to start and end, thanks!
  10. Wow great discussion you guys! Thanks for the insight
  11. Thanks everyone! ITEN: Curiosity!
  12. As the title says. Not a member but exploring my options. Thought I'd drop by here and say hiya! My name is... not important but you can call me Trixie, hahah after my cat Bellatrix. I'm a 20 something y/o art student currently residing in Va Beach. Enough about me, nice to meet you all!
  13. I am not LDS but I do have a question for LDS artists out there. First I apologize if this is in the wrong place, wasn't sure where the right place is. Anyhow my question is this. How do you all feel about nudity in art? Is there a church stance on this? I attend an art school a figure drawing is required of us. I've met a couple LDS kids at the art school I go to. One of them sees no problem with it, another one seems to think it's pornographic. Further more we have a gallery with teacher work and student work on display some of which is nude, I happen to find it artistically done and tasteful. How do the church schools go about teaching figure drawing? Just curious, any insight would be great, thanks
