  1. A Priesthood holder does not need to be present, but you cannot be alone for the male missionaries to come visit you. If you have sister missionaries or a pair of missionaries that are a married couple in your ward they can come visit. I don't know if having your children with you would be enough for the Elder missionaries but asking them couldn't hurt.
  2. No need to put original text, I was just doing it to get the point across. :)
  3. A pants thread is one where you replace words with "pants" for humorous effect. These can sometimes get out of control but I am sure every one here can keep it G rated. For Example: Star Wars Darth Vader: "I find your lack of faith disturbing." "I find your lack of pants disturbing." OR Princess Leia: "But Alderon is peaceful. We have no weapons!" " But Alderon is peaceful. We have no pants!" Have Fun!
  4. EEhh you can live without your spleen. They like to get tumors any way. J/k I am glad to hear it was only your table and floor hit by the bullet!
  5. Hello Sgt. Thank you for your sacrifice and service. You put your life on the line everyday for us here at home and you have my sincere gratitude Don't worry too much about having to change plans the two of you may already have. Most things that she may have to do she will be partly in control of when they are planned. If not, she isn't required to go to the activities, just the meetings on Sundays. She may be called to volunteer, teaching a class or chasing the nursery kids around but those aren't too time intensive and mostly during the meetings on Sunday's anyway. She may have some materials to prepare but I am sure she knows how to manage her time. Just remember that she loves you and when you have concerns talk to her. -SK P.S. When you come home speak with some missionaries. They are pools of information, happiness and love.
  6. Many women who are members of the Church stay home with their children but there are also many who don't. I know that daycare isn't always the ideal situation for children to be in but if you are both working maybe this would be the best option and at least if she knew that daycare could be an option she would feel a little better about having children. Not all women are cut out for being stay at home moms. Maybe she doesn't want to stay home but is afraid of your reaction if she was to tell you.
  7. We have switched to the pampers easy ups witch are more like pull ups and don't have tabs but still work as well as diapers. Mine likes to take her pants off too and when she started taking them off in the middle of the night a long with the diaper thats when we switched. She can't get them off so far. (knock on wood)
  8. Onsies don't really help. If she can't go down the back she will just go in the sides.
  9. Hello fellow mothers of toddlers and used to be toddlers. I have a daughter that is almost 21 months and she likes to play with her poop. I know this isn't an uncommon thing in toddler land and I am not really worried about it, I just find it extremely annoying and disgusting. I hate cleaning finger paintings poo style off the walls and crib (and her face) and was wondering if there is any way, other than keeping her in one piece outfits, to deter her from doing so. Thanks! SK
