  1. I'm still waiting for my tropical antarticta
  2. Im half convinced he just uses his twitter to troll people..... Supposing half of the twitters that media rants about are even accurate.
  3. thats a really good recall XD. Yep the two major opposing forces were test alliance and cfc in the fountain sector or region. ya when i first heard about it from mannley i was extremely impressed that they were able to host that many players in the same instance (or mesh multiple instances so that all the players could directly interact with all the others) Bummer to hear about the book getting cancelled.... The events, economy, and social environment souded much more interesting than most tv soaps
  4. to the op- i don't watch TV. literally every show i've just dropped into, within half an hour people were going on an on about who was sleeping with who.
  5. I love scott manly. I would really recommend curious droid and isaac arthur. Love their stuff. For those who dont know thats sciency stuff (usualky space related)... Altho scott manly also does a bunch with various games that feature some sort of space simulation aspect (mostly kerbal space program). On a side note you should check out the largest online virtual war, which occurred in Eve, literally it involved thousands of players over a month, with engagements that had upwards of 4 thousand players battling simultaneously (just the scope of it and that the games server network was able to handle it, barely, is incredible)... It had politics, intrigue, conquering and losing territory etc... In fact there is a movement to get it literized as a novel. I think curious droid covered this, scott manly might have something on it as well. For more of a martial history bent i like schola gladiatoria, skallagrim, metatron, and lindybiege
  6. The house literally decided to take a dump on my computer. (upstairs bathroom flooded, and drained ont o my desk, right where the comp was)
  7. I figure if i am seeing a contradiction in something, my first assumption is that i am missing something, my second is that i am using the wrong angle or context.
  8. Probably just make the stuff that has location data inaccessable, or put it somewhere where it isnt on the network.
  9. Probably long compared to today... However we know that death will still exist during the millenium... However it will be offset by being resurrected at death. So on one hand people will have mortal lives but on the other they will go right into their immortal ones at the end of their mortality. No idea how such an event will figureinto someones daily life.
  10. The way the software is set up on ipods and itunes is that it doesnt let you copy from the ipod to the computer.
  11. I sure hope so, but that sounds like too big of a loophole to have stuck around for very long.. I'll have to look into that. If it is anything like an ipad backup, good luck at being able to sort out the right bits (at least if you arent using a program that can stitch together and open the backup archives properly anyways). Pre ipad 1 ipods might be different, but id wager the late gen ones go through a few loops to keep someone from doing that.
  12. Without jailbreaking it, the only way to transfer music off an ipod is recording it from the ipod audio out jack and using your computers audio in jack (if it has one). Music you've paid for from online services generally have them backed to your account and can download from those to other devices such as usb drives. The older stuff from napster you are going to have to find wherever you hid the original you used to copy to your ipod..... (or find on youtube, and rip it from there... But i didnt say that). I think any apple store can replace your battery. I like the older ipods. They didnt come with the bloody bloatware that is unremoveable. I have been finding my appreciation for apple dwindling since shortly after cook took over ( or since apple came out as pro lgbqt in the politics arena ,no idea if its just a coinkadink or if theres any correlation, probably the former). I swear apple and M$ are trying to outdo each other in all the wrong ways >.< Edit i would highly advise avoiding getting an apple music account. At least if you do a lot mp3 file storing and moving between different devices.
  13. You havent seen the segment where the mormons are the right choice? XD
  14. That is what is part of what is meant by taking the lords name in vain, altho id say being hypocritical of bigger things than just an attitude is probably weightier in that regard.
  15. As for reality being a simulation, i cant prove or disprove it. Its an interesting idea to be sure, but i'll err on the side of it not being a simulation.
  16. I hope he is successful and will inspire others to work businesses in that direction. It would be nifty to have a branch on mars.
  17. What you "identify" as is what you really are, or something like that. That it is all mental and the physical has no bearing on it.
  18. Dune and the john carter of mars series had a lot of inspirations for star wars... Dune was also a big inspiration for warhammer 40000
  19. I believe the decision is the bishops, however For handing it out i think can be done by the others. But dont quote me on it.
  20. Very Interesting. and yes i agree on how we try to understand scripture.
  21. looking forward to anything you do decide to share and welcome back!
  22. The windows gui team needs to be fired. The core of windows ten is pretty good. Its just all the buggy and forced garbage that surrounds it. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Really really wish the higherups used windows 10 before making us switch to 8 through 10
  23. Out of all the hardships that nephi lives through, this is the only account we have in the BoM where he hesitates to be obedient to the Lord. Perhaps he hesitated for only a few seconds, perhaps closer to an hour. I agree, nephi has a lot of nerve, and discipline ... Which would suggest that his wrestle before god was probably on the shorter end timewise than not. (and supports imo the suggestion that nephi either had very good training in the higher orders of the priesthood or from someone who was. Also another lesson from that event; don't dwell in the past). I would also put forth that that his struggle there was quite a bit deeper than mere contemplation. Personally i would rather have to deal with a life of cancer than have to execute someone, even if it was for the safety of my family and and i was legally obligated to. it would take me great deal longer in that struggle. Whatever demons one faces, usually those are the ones that appear the largest beore that person.
