  1. I have seen these at Toys R Us/Babies R Us.
  2. Before you get out of bed in the morning eat something. With my first pregnancy I would eat a banana nut muffin and with my second I generally ate a banana. Also, take your prenatal vitamin with dinner (not in the morning). The biggest thing for me was not allowing myself to get hungry...if I would get hungry then the nausea didn't go away...eat small meals all day. If it is especially bad, look into getting a prescription for zofran...I used it for my first pregnancy and my sister is using it now...it is really great stuff. Make sure you are resting...our oldest had a lot more TV time when I was pregnant with our second, I felt guilty, but you do what you have to do. I hope you feel better!
  3. I am speaking of the God of the Bible. God, not god, or gods. If the Father was not born God, rather he had to progress to that point, that would lead one to believe (if everything follows a pattern) that Christ would also have had to progress to Godhood.
  4. So, would that mean Jesus progressed to Godhood in the pre-existence?
  5. "This is the way our Heavenly Father became God. Joseph Smith taught: “It is the first principle of the Gospel to know for a certainty the character of God. … He was once a man like us; … God himself, the Father of us all, dwelt on an earth, the same as Jesus Christ himself did” (Teachings of the Prophet Joseph Smith, pp. 345–46). " This brings me to my next question. When did Jesus become God? After his life, death and resurection?
  6. That quote and also, JS, in the Follett Discourse, makes reference to God once being a man (I believe). I am just trying to understand something, and want to make sure I am understanding correcting...in the LDS view.
  7. The question I will ultimately get to is regarding Jesus. Just, work with me...please. Question 1. Was God the Father once a man, on a prior "earth", who progressed to Godhood?
  8. Form, appearance, kind...there is still no discrepancy in the meaning of the verse.
  9. I am curious as to how this wording causes a discrepancy? Is the wording exactly the same? No, it isn't. But, the phrases used do not disagree with one another (what discrepancy means). Abstain from all appearnce of evil (KJV) and Abstain from every form of evil (ASV) bring forth the same sentiment...Yo, bro, stay away from evil!!!
  10. I did take my lessons on-line, that may have made a difference. The lady and I actually became very good friends. The Sister did teach the chastity lesson, which in my opinion, may have been a bit awkward if the Elders had taught (to me, a married woman).
  11. I took the lessons from two Elder's and a married woman was brought into the mix...I suppose since I was married.
  12. Was it easy for Jesus? John the Baptist? Paul?
