  1. Thank you - very interesting picture, BTW.
  2. Thank for the warm welcome. When you get time to investigate Gnosticism, hopefully you will find one of my books. I have one the that covers basic history and "cosmology" / theology. It includes the "Gospels" of Mary, Philip, and Thomas. For a peek into "extreme" gnosticism, look at the Gospel of Judas. That is a wild ride.
  3. Hi All - I suppose I have two posts to respond to. First - "I'm afraid I haven't read the books you're referring to, but any man who can grow facial hair like that is okay by me!" Thanks "Funkytown." I had the beard since 19. Shaved it twice. Once my daughter (5 at the time) told me, "Dad. You aren't too pretty without your beard." Many years later I tried again and my son (13 at the time) simply said, "No! BAD DAD.... BAD..." Enough said. Mr "Hemidakota" - I totally agree with you. The spirit is needed to discern what is truth. There are many books I work with and at the end of the project I think, "This book is useful only in that it is a document from history and so it shows us what was being pondered and written about at the time." Many have no spiritual value, but all give insight into the various avenues the Jewish and Christian faiths have taken.
  4. Hi - Thank you. Nice to meet you also. Thank you for the welcome.
