Welcome and Aloha! FYI...I too am a convert, about 30 years now, and I too was a Catholic. What interested me most of the LDS church was that Families could be together FOREVER! I have learned so much about our Heavenly Father and how great his love is for me, even through all my mistakes, he loves me. What an assurance and a sense of peace this brings.

Aloha from Hawaii. There is a missionary there from Hilo, Hawaii serving in the Brisbane mission and there is another missionary from Oahu, Hawaii serving in another mission in Australia. I hope you get to meet up with either of them. Both are great Elders.

Alooooha!! I am new to this and ask of your patience please. I am a widowed, mother of three sons living in Hilo, Hawaii. Our ward, Keaukaha, is a wonderful, very family oriented ward and I am so blessed to be a part of. I have one son on a mission. Serving in the Nevada Las Vegas West mission. He's been out approx. 8 months. Thank you for letting me introduce mself.

I too am a missionary mom. My son is serving in the Nevada Las Vegas West mission. He's been out for about 8 months now. Knowing that he is on the Lord's errand and receivng weekly updates makes the time go by alot easier.
