Congrats, being that I'll be turning Seventeen in less than year as well, I was quite surprised with the statement, 3 years of seminary and has not yet been baptized. It didn't really make much sense until this latest post of yours. Just a warning though, I know a few members my age who still do not heed to the WOW, or other standards like using appropiate language, so don't be hoping for a quick conversion. Still, it's great to hear that he's getting baptized. He's got a lot of great memories of the church ahead of him, espicially if you have him attend EFY.

I consider watching horror movies as a major no no. I'm not talking about movies like Jaws and Jurassic Park, I'm talking about movies like the Human Centipiede, Saw, etc. etc. I personally think the people who make these movies are just downright twisted. Same applies to books too. Besides, I think Articles of Faith #13 indirectly points out that Horror movies are a 'do not want'. Besides, I'm a complete wuss. I watched PART of I Am Legend, and I couldn't sleep for half the week after I saw it.

The Chrysalids was the worst for me. The book takes place in Newfoundland after a nuclear war, yet none of the Newfoundlanders have a Newfie accent! They have a friggin' British one! Poor research evident!!! Lord of the Flies is also another one. Very depressing. However, no matter how hard you try, you'll never get any worse than the crap known as Twilight. Sadly, quite contrary to belief, holding up a cross will NOT make it go away. In other news, The Book of Mormon has yet to be tested as a vampire repellant.

I also got Pres. Monson's favourite scriptures from her. Originally, I tried getting her to sign my scriptures (for motivational reasons ) but she said she wasn't allowed to, so she told me Monson's favourite scriptures instead as compensation.
