Not so far. The only good thing that may come out of it is people will pay them off if they have a job. I'm paying 21.89% interest under the new rules which I'm sure were written up by the banking industry and pasted by Congress. Congressmen will be joining the unemployment line in November.

This is the way they make your credit score. The more credits accounts you have with very little owing on them the better the score. Having said that you wouldn't want to show say 30 accounts with $10 balance on them. Ideally it would be about 7-12 accounts with very little balance would be the ideal. When you have a good score avoid taking on debt because it is a trap.

Wingnut is right. Don't close the account and keep a small balance and it will give you a good credit score. Then with good credit score you can get in debt.

I came back about 38 years ago and reported to my home Stake in Salt Lake City. They asked me show up at a certain time and I was there at that time. I was kept waiting, why? I told the secretary after I had waited about 15 minutes that I was leaving and I was sorry I had missed them. She asked me why I had to go? I told here was going to a movie. I was trying to make a point. I thought it was so ignorant of them to keep me waiting. See I don't accept the pecking order and I don't like the lack of respect that they showed by keeping me waiting. The secretary went into the High Council meeting and I'm sure she told them why I was leaving. The result was they had me come in right away to report.

I don't think beards are becoming more common in my area. What is common is the bald/shaven heads. I think that is except-able in the field. I agree that we don't want to follow the crowd. The days of white shirts and ties maybe numbered because whereas in the past it gave the appearance of respectability the opposite is now taking place IMO. Car sales men, con artists, pontie system criminals come to mind. In other words white shirts and suits mean watch out! As for the sisters, those long dress skirts, they are over board and too long. I have come to appreciate as of late the females who wear dresses instead of pants. They look more feminine and they should be a lot cooler.
