  1. I don't believe in the one, single soulmate thing...I believe there are multiple people of the opposite sex that a person could potentially marry....It's mostly a matter of compatibility...but don't follow my advice, as I've been married in the temple twice and divorced twice...
  2. This must be a very devastating situation to deal with. I endured a long-term childless marriage where the only thing getting bred was latent resentment. You are both still so very young and I hope some resolution can be found in the near future . For a marriage to grow, the dynamics have to change over the long-term and the best way to do that is by having children--if that is physically possible, which appears to be so in your case. My prayers are with you!
  3. I thought that they used campus buildings for holding services on Sundays..... will this new building have a food court too? LOL
  4. I'm thinking the mantra of new Church member-oriented cleaning of the buildings must be "No Cheerio Left Behind!"
  5. I'm guessing a turkey sandwich and a glass of whole milk would make you fall asleep fairly quickly...usually works for me !
  6. Just curious, your stake isn't presided over by Gerry Mandering, is it? Excuse me for just a minute while I dodge a few lightning bolts here!
  7. Who remembers the uproar at BYU in the 1980's about printing a portrait of a clean-shaven Brother Brigham on the cover of the cover of the student telephone directory? A full-bearded Brigham wouldn't have been in harmony with the dress and grooming standards there...I found it really ironic to say rhe least!
  8. And here I thought global warming was brought on by the end of the Cold War...
  9. Not a woman, so of course not in a position to say yeah or nay to the concept of a baby shower, but I did spend nearly two decades in a marriage where conception was never a possibilty, but I do say go bask in the momen..you'll have earned it after 9 months of carrying your child to full term!
  10. I can think of a few people in my lifetime with whom that was probably the case the night of their wedding LOL
  11. Funny, I have a miniature version of the Gingerbread Man from Shrek that I got out of Kinder Egg that I collected--it's a hollow chocolate egg with a plastic yolk inside, containing toys, puzzles, figures, etc..
  12. Yes, indeed...also a huge fan of trivia games!
  13. You might be Mormon if....you stayed after at your own wedding reception to help clean up...rather than racing to the hotel/motel to consumate the marriage!
  14. Greetings to all..I'm a newbie on here and I hail from northeast Kansas..looking forward to reading some enlightening and or humorous threads on here..
