and the other few hundred posts were nearly all utter nonsense (but still entertaining in their own way).

I'm a web developer for my day job.
If I could just get some fans for my YouTube channel then maybe I could monetize things and do it for a living. But... yeah. I have no idea how to build an audience.
Become a police officer...we get lots of media attention.

This is a tight rope for religious people to walk on.
If we want to say human trafficking/grooming is all over the place…well okay, but since that door has been opened, by us, a reasonable person has the right to say “You know, I’ve heard churches have this problem too. Perhaps I should stay home with the kids this Sunday.” It’s a totally fair point on their part.

No. People post stupid things like this all the time:
Uncommon occurrence. Yes it happens, not often.
QuoteNope. It all depends how you define it. How many non custodial abductions have you been called on in your career?
A few, never had a custodial abduction. Trafficking is not just about abductions either. Or children.

Very few people actually believe this and Tim Ballard had nothing to do with that thought process.

This story has a very unfortunate update.

I know how y'all feel about the Tribune, but this is being reported by multiple outlets.
The Tribune is not VICE. I think originally with the story coming from them people had questions (I certainly did.)

Well, the structure looks like it's relatively okay...but...seeing that it's in this thread chances are that there's something weird with it going on.
Better to just condemn it on principle and blow it up and clean up the rubble then rebuild.
Yes...blow it up...free things to leave the place they are trapped... I dare you.
