As most undoubted know, there are Old Testament books found in the Catholic and Orthodox Bibles that are not in Protestant Bibles or are in a separate section. What is the LDS stance on these texts? The only LDS Bible I've seen in recent memory was a KJV and it didn't contain them, so I am assuming its similar to Protestant sects, but am not sure. Thanks for any info. :)

Perhaps an odd question, but was it true that the late Bob Ross (of Joy of Painting fame) was a member of the Latter-day Saint Church? I've read references online, but nothing concrete. Thanks.

That's really cool. The Red Cross provides many services to our country. I am less familiar with the activities of the LDS church, but I understand they do a lot of relief and welfare work, so it seems like a good match. :)

Hello. This may be a very basic question, so forgive the nature of it. I am not a member of the Latter-day Saint church, but I have been meaning to read the Book of Mormon for a long time now. My question is there a standard daily reading plan I could use to do so? Obviously I could just read x number of chapters a day, but I was thinking something broken up in a more logical fashion. I've used a lot of different reading plans for the Bible that are set up as such. Also, tangentially, is there a reading plan for the other texts in the LDS Canon (e.g., D&C, Pearl of Great Price)? Thanks for any links, resources, etc. :)

Certainly both shotgun and handgun. I wouldn't bother with the Judge for a number of reasons.
