  1. I've been to all the Missouri sites but not yet Nauvoo, I SO want to go there.
  2. For me it's always been the Folk-magic. The peep stones, treasure hunting all of the mystical energy that seems to be around at the time. Whether it was just rumors or stories or not, it seems fascinating, Hence the reason why my writing goes to those areas often. I just wrote a TV pilot that was converted to a graphic novel about folk-magic in the 1850s, called Pariah, Missouri. It's on Kickstarter now. I love church history.
  3. I'm on year 4 of my stint. Delegate, delegate. And get good councilors and if they aren't working out, don't be afraid to switching it up. I've been through a bunch, mostly do to moves, but still move things around to keep the energy. good luck! Andy
  4. Cool! I see the Black and the Scriptures tag. I know Marvin Perkins and those guys. Great fellas. I was planning on doing a documentary about African American mormons!
  5. Hey Guys, Wanted to pop in and give an intro. I am LDS, true blue. Live in Ventura, I voted for Mitt, although I might be considered a little more liberal than some mormons. I love to surf and enjoy a good run. I am a stand-up comedian, writer and artist, hoping to get my new Kickstarter project off the ground Pariah, Missouri If you like Church history and folk-magic I think you will love it. a supernatural story set in 1857 there's magic, peep stones and some fun action. I pitch it as Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Deadwood. I'd love for people to check it out and help spread the word. I am an active LDS, creative member and I want our voice to be in the entertainment world. Thanks! Andy
