My question to you would be, how are you praying about it? Are you just asking "what should I do?" If you are, that isn't the best way to pray about it. Read D&C 9:8-9. It tells you how you should go about making a decision and praying about it. You need to make a decision on your own first, the one that you think is best, then pray and ask if it is right. I know someone who knew they were supposed to go on a mission. They prepared to go and were about to turn in their papers and were in an interview with the Stake President. The Stake President told this person they are not to go on a mission and that the Lord wanted this person to only prepare to go. This person had been dating and the Stake President said that they needed to go get married. So maybe you are only supposed to prepare. I don't know. Pray about it in they way it says in D&C 9:8-9. I hope all goes well in whatever comes next in your life.

GO DUCKS!!! I want a rematch with Boise State and see the Ducks put a woop on them this time! Oregon would kill them them this time just like they did with USC. There is no way Boise State should be in the top 10 since they haven't played anybody other than Oregon.

Congratulations! My brother served in that mission a few years ago, except it was English speaking. I am now preparing to go on a mission and I just started my papers tonight. I'm excited!

I'm a huge Oregon Ducks fan and I'm not happy for the actions by Blount. I am glad Blount was punished for what he did but I am very upset that Boise State did not take any actions on behalf of Hout, their fans, and that they kept showing the punch over and over again inside the stadium, which was egging on the fans. That is just classless. The University of Oregon did their part in punishing Blount and now Boise State needs to do their part in punishing Hout. I have never liked Boise State and now I dislike them even more!

I love the Blazers!! It was tough watching that game last night but they had an awesome year. It's great to have a team where all the guys are such good people!

I live in Portland and loved seeing your pictures of the great scenery that is in the area. I have made that hike to Mirror Lake quite a few times and it is a beautiful place. These are great pictures!

I love to play and watch basketball, though I haven't been able to play for about 2 years now and it kills me that I can't. I love to be with my family. I love going to church. Something that I can do is cut hair. I cut my own hair and a few family members hair. I don't really love to do it but I can do it.

Did anyone see how the Blazers beat the Bulls a few nights ago? The Blazers one by 42 points!! I swear that there were at least 15 dunks by the Blazers during this game. It was a complete domination by my team, the Blazers. I haven't seen the Lakers win by that much this season yet.

I think the alternative fuel, Ethanol, is a joke. Why would you take food and make fuel? Taking food away from us to make fuel that is not as good as oil. You get a lot worse gas mileage out of Ethanol than oil. Ethanol should stop being used and give us the food back. There is a much better way to use that food. People in other countries are starving and what are we doing with it? Using it to fuel our cars! Ridiculous!

LDS Missionaries rarely knock on the same door more than once in a month, usually longer, unless they feel inspired to keep going to the same place.

I can't believe I am saying this, especially being a Blazers fan, but the Lakers are looking really good this year. But I am very mad at the Lakers right now for taking out Greg Oden for 2-4 weeks!

I love the snow! When it is snowing it is so quiet and peaceful. I love when everything is all white. To me, I hope that there is snow in the next life. I think I love the snow so much because it is white and it makes me think of the temple.

Well the Blazers are the youngest team in the league if that counts for anything but that will not stop them.

5 reasons not to mess with children A little girl was talking to her teacher about whales. The teacher said it was physically impossible for a whale to swallow a human because even though it was a very large mammal its throat was very small. The little girl stated that Jonah was swallowed by a whale. Irritated, the teacher reiterated that a whale could not swallow a human; it was physically impossible. The little girl said, "When I get to heaven I will ask Jonah". The teacher asked, "What if Jonah went to hell?" The little girl replied, "Then you ask him." A Kindergarten teacher was observing her classroom of children while they were drawing. She would occasionally walk around to see each child's work. As she got to one little girl who was working diligently, she asked what the drawing was. The girl replied, "I'm drawing God." The teacher paused and said, "But no one knows what God looks like." Without missing a beat, or looking up from her drawing, the girl replied, "They will in a minute." A Sunday school teacher was discussing the Ten Commandments with her five and six year olds. I teach Elders Quorum on the third week of every month. I have only taught two lessons so far and I teach tomorrow. I do struggle preparing but I just teach straight from the manual. I know others that should be teaching out of the manual but don't, they just teach the subject. I think I teach right out of it because it is what should be taught. I do get a good discussion going about the topics in each lesson.

I will watch basketball whenever it is on. But I will probably watch just about any of the events when I have the tv on.
